Foglifter is a biannual compendium of the most dynamic, urgent queer writing today.
This month Foglifter is celebrating #Pride by participating in #GiveOUT Day, a month-long fundraising campaign to support our publications and programs. ![]()
So far we are 16% of the way towards our goal of $10,000, with $1.6k raised by 13 donors! We could not be more thrilled that our community is rallying around this fundraiser. You can join our awesome group of donors today— no donation is too small! With your donation, whether it’s $5 or $5,000, you will aid us in our mission to give queer writers the opportunity to shine. ![]()
This campaign will help us create our gorgeous biannual journals and annual chapbook prize, Start a Riot! This prize is especially close to our heart, as it supports emerging queer and/or trans BIPOC writers based in the Bay Area! ![]()
IG: This background has an image of orange flames on blue water, with a black transparent space in the middle. On the black space is the text, “Support Foglifter for pride month.” On the left is the Start a Riot! Chapbook Prize logo. Beside the logo is the text, “This June, join us in creating a celebratory space for queer and trans writers of color through our Start a Riot! Chapbook Prize.” At the bottom, there is text that reads, “Help us reach our $10,000 goal!” with a link to the Foglifter fundraiser.

[ID: A graphic with a white background and two thin yellow borders at the top and bottom spotlighting BYP100. In the top left corner, there is a beige teardrop shape with BYP100’s circular logo—a raised fist in red, black, and green against a yellow background; “BYP” in red and “100” in green written on the forearm; a thick black border with “Black Youth Project 100” in downward curved yellow text at the top, and “Unapologetically Black” in upward curved green text at the bottom; they are separated by two red circles with a black circle in the center.![]()
To the logo’s right, is our logo against the Give OUT Day logo—a white cat paw with purple paw pads, yellow nails, and a matching yellow wrist bone jutting out against a black, white, and purple circle shaped like a planet; “Queer Cat” is above the paw in purple font, and “Productions” is on a purple ring in front, like the rings of Saturn. To the right, yellow text reads, “Queer Cat Spotlight." In-between our logos, there’s a black outline illustration of a mouse pointer over a globe next to their website URL in green text, BYP100.org, and three similar illustrations of the Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter logos—a camera, an outline of an F, and a bird, respectively—next to their handle for each platform, @BYP100. ![]()
Black text underneath reads, “The BYP100 Education Fund is a national member-based organization of 18- to 35-year-old Black activists and organizers, dedicated to creating justice and freedom through a Black queer feminist lens. They focus on ending systems of anti-Blackness and emphasizing the urgency of protecting folks living on the margins of the margins.” End description.]
